GICLEE

Giclee is a French word meaning "To Spray". The Giclee printing process involves spraying microscopic dots of ink (about 1/4 the width of a human hair) onto fine quality paper or canvas. On paper, the inks are actually absorbed slightly and blend to create fine art reproductions that are often indistinguishable from the originals. The process yields prints of stunning vibrancy, depth and realism. Giclee printing is a very slow process which produces prints one at a time. These prints have a much higer resolution relative to offset lithography and other digital printing processes.
